Winter Pontoon Storage Ltd.
At Lakeside Canvas, 50 feet from the lake.

New storage people, should make reservations in September just to be sure.

  • People that have stored in the past can tie the pontoon up at the dock after the 10th of October, you do not need an appointment. Boats can be droped of for storage 7 days a week.
     
  • Boats should be droped off by November 10th, last call is November 16th.
     
  • Have a check for storage with you when the boat is tied at the dock. Leave the check in the back of the astro van on the shelf to the right.
     
  • If you need a ride back to your house or car when dropping off a boat, be sure to make an appointment.
     
  • Leave the KEY in the boat(required).

Price for winter 2011-2012 is $600.00 plus tax.
• Tax is 7.0% TL=$642.00
• Storage is to be paid by cash or check when boat is dropped off at the dock.
• Checks are made to: Lakeside Canvas
• It is best to put your pontoon OH-_ _ _ _-_ _ number in the check memo line.

 

 

Storage Includes

  • Pull pontoon boat out of Buckeye Lake after October 10th. on our launch ramp.

  • Remove any trash from boat.

  • Dry and fold cover.

  • Winterize Engine

  • Stabilize the Fuel

  • Change Lower Unit Fluid

  • Charge Battery

  • Change 4stroke Oil & Filter if provided.

  • Shrink Wrap the Boat

  • Put pontoon up on wood blocks in our lot that is 50 feet from our ramp.
    The boats do not leave the lot. Most all other storage places trailer the boat to a location.

  • "All boats are checked daily during the winter" no other boat storage does this.

 

Springtime

  • People that want an early launch can be in the lake anytime after March 1st.
  • Normal launch time starts April 1st., depending on conditions.
  • All storage boats will be in the lake no later than May 15 th.
  • Launch boat, charge battery, start engine, put cover on boat and tie securly to dock.
  • Boats need to be picked up within 5 days after launching.(make room for boats coming in)
  • If you need a ride here to pickup the boat, be sure to make an appointment.
  • Extend your season. We have lots of nice days in early spring.

 

Please Note
• Boats need to have 3 or more gallons of gas in the tank when dropped off for storage. The fuel is needed for winterizing and getting the boat back to your dock in the springtime.

• 4 stroke outboard oil and filter change is Maintenance, not Winterizing.
• I will change your oil and filter for free. You must provide the oil and filter when boat is dropped off. The old oil will be recovered, labeled and returned to you in plastic oil containers when the boat is picked up.
The old oil is returned to the boat owner to keep the Ohio E.P.A. satisfied.
